We are currently looking to recruit local support workers for a role we have in the Bury area. Stepping Stones Services deliver supported living and outreach support to those in the community. This is not a domiciliary/ call to call care organisation. This role is for waking nights only with set shifts from 10am-10pm. Who are Stepping Stones Services? Here at Stepping Stones Services, we support individuals with a range of different needs and disabilities to live as independently as possible in their own home. As a service, we provide support to individuals with varied needs and diagnosis such as learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, mental health, dual diagnosis, complex care and a range of additional needs. Your duty of care will be as follows- General Support ? Take part in helping individuals to draw up their Person-Centred Plan and follow the agreed plan. ? Support individuals to develop and maintain relationships ? Support individuals to make informed choices around a healthy lifestyle. ? Support individuals to meet their holistic needs. ? Provide support with accessing the community, in accordance with the individuals wishes identified in their Person-Centred Plan. ? Support individuals with managing finances to meet domestic responsibilities and personal aspirations. ? Provide advice, support, and prompting with domestic tasks. ? Support individuals to access other services. ? Support individuals to maintain the safety and security of their home. Personal Care This may include assistance in any or all of the following areas: Bathing, Dressing, Mobility, Oral Hygiene and Supporting with their continence needs.
