Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Account Executive to drive sales of big-ticket ERP solutions within a group of existing and new logo's within Tier One and Tier Two Retail & Manufacturing companies across the UK. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to work with leading global organisations, delivering transformative & Cloud based ERP projects that empower clients to optimise operations, improve efficiencies, and drive growth. You will be responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing, with a focus on building strong, lasting relationships with senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
* New Logo Sales (50%) : Take full ownership of the sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, solution presentations, negotiations, and closing high-value ERP £750K-£2M ACV) deals to Tier One and Tier Two Retail & Manufacturing companies.
* Client Engagement: Build and maintain long-term relationships with C-level executives, VPs, Directors, and other key stakeholders within target organizations.
* Solution Selling: Understand client business challenges, articulate the value of ERP solutions/projects, and work closely with internal teams to deliver customised proposals that address client needs.
* Sales Strategy with Existing base (50%): Develop and implement a strategic account plan with existing install base to achieve revenue goals, targeting key upsell/cross sell opportunities within these Retail and Manufacturing customers.
* Collaborative Approach: Work closely with marketing, pre-sales, and technical teams to ensure the successful execution of client engagements and to drive solution adoption.
* Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, providing regular forecasting and reporting to senior leadership, while ensuring timely follow-up and closure of all active deals.
* Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to remain competitive and add value to client conversations.
* Post-Sales Engagement: Provide support in the transition phase from sales to implementation to ensure a smooth handover and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience (5/8+ years) selling ERP or CRM enterprise-level software solutions to Tier One and Tier Two Retail & Manufacturing organizations.
* Strong knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Infor, IFS or similar) and an understanding of their application in business operations, particularly in the Retail and Manufacturing sectors.
* Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and closing high-value new logo deals.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
* Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage a remote sales territory effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with a consultative approach to understanding and addressing client business needs.
* Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and manage long-term deals in a strategic and methodical way.
* Knowledge of the UK ERP market and the ability to network with key industry players.
* Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams including pre-sales, solution architects, and implementation specialists.
* Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
