This Inclusion Teaching Assistant role will give you a fantastic chance to work with children who have mild to severe challenging behaviour or learning difficulties. As an Inclusion Teaching Assistant you will collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student. About the School: This school is a flourishing SEN secondary school which has a main site and an inclusion site. You will be supporting those pupils who have been elected to study in the inclusion department for various academic/behaviour reasons. The ideal candidate: Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods. Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the educational environment.
