We are working with a highly reputable, established manufacturer of tooling who are experiencing strong growth. This is a key position within the business and will see you manage all areas of finance within the business. As Finance Manager, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable on a day-to-day level within an SME. Wider duties include managing a Finance Assistant to ensure documentation is accurate. The position is quite fast paced in nature due to the volume of invoices flowing throughout the business on a monthly basis. The systems in place are good to ensure processes are optimised. We can be flexible on backgrounds / qualifications for the right person with demonstrable experience within a similar function. Package & Hours: c£40,000 as a guide. 22 days holiday bank holidays. 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm finish on a Friday. Some flexibility around these hours should you wish to start earlier. The position is office based. This Finance Manager job will suit: An organised individual who comes from a solid, time served Financial Management background. Experience of overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable. Strong communicator and used to working within a fast-paced environment. Some man management experience would be a bonus as a Finance Assistant does report into this role. Flexible on accounting software previously. The business use Winman ERP and professional training will be provided. If you’ve used either Sage or Xero then you will easily be able to use Winman. Daily cash management. Credit control related tasks. Bankline management and payments. Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end finance processes. Managing and developing the Finance Assistant to help ensure the Finance Department runs efficiently. Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.
