Job summary The Site Clinical Lead is responsible for the delivery of high quality clinical services on site, ensuring agreed standards are met. The Site Clinical Lead Has delegated responsibility for clinical governance, contract and QOF performance for the site. Will line-manage the clinical team and ensure sound leadership on the site within the values of Salford Primary Care Together. Will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and GP Clinical Lead to contribute to service improvement; coordination of activity across sites and the consistent implementation of agreed policy. Is also a Salaried GP and so has the role and responsibilities of a Salaried GP. Utilising in-depth Primary Care and clinical knowledge, the Site Clinical Leads will be able to translate regulatory developments into clinical service delivery designed to meet the needs of the patients and contractual requirements. This includes: adhering to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with fellow Site Clinical Leads and the multidisciplinary team. Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.
