Job description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fencer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing and installing various types of fencing, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as a strong understanding of fabrication techniques. The Fencer will work on diverse projects, including commercial fencing and gates, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities Construct and install various types of fencing, including wooden, metal, and concrete. Measure and mark locations for fence posts and panels accurately. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Fabricate custom fencing solutions based on client specifications. Ensure all installations are level, secure, and meet quality standards. Conduct regular maintenance checks on installed fences to ensure longevity. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on-site. Requirements Proven experience in fencing. Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, drills) and power tools (e.g., nail guns, grinders). Knowledge of basic welding techniques is advantageous. Ability to read technical drawings accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail. Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required.
