Key Responsibilities
* Conduct NPORS training for plant and machinery, ensuring participants acquire the necessary skills and knowledge.
* Manage a cohort of learners, carrying out assessments and evaluations of their knowledge, skills and behaviours, ensuring they are at the required standards for industry and meeting external awarding organisation (sqa) requirements.
* Assess and evaluate trainees' performance, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
* Collaborate with the training team to continuously enhance the quality of our programmes.
* Conduct yearly Plant Operator Assessments.
* Keep abreast of industry developments and incorporate best practices into training programmes.
* Maintain a safe workplace without risk to health.
* Travel to sites across the central belt will be required.
Qualifications/Skills required
* Qualified SVQ Assessor - Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement*.
* Instructor Award - NPORS (Preferable) or CPCS.
* Plant Operations - Various Categories Required.
* Proven experience as a Plant Trainer/Instructor.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Effective delivery of Training & Toolbox Talks.
* First Aid Assessor (Preferable).
* Full UK Driving Licence.
