Pay Range: £140 - £230 per day
Hours: Part-Time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and innovative Computer Science and Creative Media Teacher to join a Secondary School based in the Totton area of Southampton starting in September 2024 on a longer-term contract for 3 days a week on for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. This position begins as a long-term contract with the strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, inspiring them to excel in the rapidly evolving field of computer science. The role will ideally be full time but the School will consider applicants that can commit part time as well. The school will consider unqualified Computer Science teachers, that come with experience teaching in the UK.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and interactive Computer Science and Creative Media lessons that spark student interest and foster digital literacy.
* Build positive relationships with students and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
* Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans, assess student progress, and communicate effectively with parents during scheduled events.
* Collaborate with the wider teaching team to enhance the Computer Science curriculum and support students' academic and personal growth.
