As a Digital and Social Channels Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our digital and social media strategy. You will be responsible for the creation of content across a range of channels. The role offers a great degree of variety, from attending shoots for social content to redesigning web pages on the PLC website with our external agency. Each day is different. Collaborating with our internal stakeholders, external agencies, and in-house production team to create compelling digital and social content across a range of topics. Writing briefs to ensure all the work we create aligns with our key objectives and KPIs. Attending and managing content shoots, supporting the digital lead. Copywriting for social content and ensuring all copy is aligned with our brand's tone of voice. Working closely with our media partner to plan and execute paid campaigns. Managing our content calendar on a day-to-day basis, working closely with our external agency and internal stakeholders to keep the calendar up to date. Reporting on the performance of content, ensuring that we constantly learn and innovate. Additionally, providing ad-hoc social listening support when needed. Managing the community by monitoring and responding to comments, mentions, and messages in a timely manner. Ensuring our corporate PLC website is kept up to date, working with both our external agency and internal stakeholders within the business. This includes handling daily tasks such as updating content or briefing in larger pieces of work, such as webpage redesigns or the addition of new features. Providing support with the digital elements of key business calendar events, such as the publication of business financial results on our corporate website. Excellent planning and organisational skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage customers effectively. Ability to meet tight deadlines, working in a fast-paced and sometimes pressured environment. Self-starter who can prioritise their own workload and schedule, comfortable working as part of a team and building strong relationships with internal customers. Exceptional attention to detail and strong writing skills. Creative thinker with the ability to challenge the status quo. Passionate about content creation and unafraid to challenge established ways of working. Digitally savvy. Preferred Experience & Skills Previous experience with social media management tools, such as Sprout Social, to schedule content and create listening queries. Good understanding of content management systems, specifically Umbraco CMS. Basic understanding of Google Analytics. Experience with Adobe Express.
