Job Description:
We provide a wide range of diagnostic procedures within our modern purpose-built department, offering specialist imaging such as lymphatic SPECT/CT to the Melanoma service.
This exciting opportunity has become available just as the department enters a new phase of development. We have just installed two Siemens Intevo Bold T16 scanners, both of which are high specification scanners capable of quantification SPECT, so there is no better time for an aspiring professional to join us. In addition, we will be relaunching our cardiac service following a comprehensive review and further investment.
Main duties of the job:
* To work in the Nuclear Medicine department performing high quality diagnostic examinations.
* To take an active role in the cardiac stressing rota.
* Offer expert advice and support to the department.
* Participate in any extended day, weekend, and Bank Holiday service provided by the department.

Person specification:
Communication and Relationship skills:
* Demonstrates excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Carried out audits and standard setting.
* Able to manage and prioritise workload.
Experience:
* Extensive clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine.
Qualifications:
* Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc in Radiography / equivalent Nuclear Medicine Degree.
* HCPC registration / Register of Clinical Technologists.
* Post Grad diploma in nuclear medicine or equivalent.
