Head of Operational Excellence
We are seeking an experienced Head of Operational Excellence, who will lead QBS Software’s efforts to create streamlined, scalable, and customer-focused operations across the EMEA region. This role is critical in driving process improvement, ensuring consistency across regions, and building future capabilities. The role will also manage operational integration for M&A activities and lead the development of offshore order fulfilment and processing capabilities to adapt to the evolving marketplace. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Key responsibilities include:
* Define and implement a robust operational excellence strategy that supports the company’s growth and scalability across multiple regions.
* Drive the adoption of best practices to achieve operational consistency, simplicity, and standardisation across the EMEA markets.
* Identify, analyse, and refine operational processes to reduce complexity, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
* Lead initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce lead times, and standardise workflows across all regions.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement using proven methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
* Manage the operational integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring alignment with QBS Software’s standards, systems, and processes.
* Design and implement a strategy for future-proofing order fulfilment (all process) and processing capabilities by developing offshore operations.
* Identify and establish partnerships with offshore providers to build scalable, cost-effective, and reliable operational support.
* Ensure offshore operations meet or exceed service quality and efficiency benchmarks.
* Act as a central point of contact to harmonise operations across the EMEA region while respecting market-specific requirements.
* Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
* Lead and develop a high-performing team of operational professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
* Oversee change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption during process updates, integrations, or system changes.
* Identify and mitigate operational risks to safeguard business continuity.

The ideal Head of Operational Excellence will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in operations, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management; MBA preferred.
* Proven experience in a senior operational role within a top-tier or a comparable technology organisation.
* Strong experience managing operational integration for mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
* Expertise in process improvement, simplification, and standardisation, with a track record of driving consistency across regions.
* Knowledgeable in operational frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies.
* Demonstrated experience in building and managing offshore operational capabilities, including order fulfilment and processing teams.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience managing multi-regional teams and working cross-functionally in a matrix organisation.
