What You’ll Be Doing as HR Manager
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead our employee relations work while overseeing key HR functions. Your responsibilities will include:
Employee Relations
* Lead on complex employee relations cases, offering expert advice and practical solutions.
* Ensure consistency, compliance, and fairness across all employee relation processes.
* Provide guidance to managers and employees on best practices, employment law, and company policies.
Recruitment, Onboarding, and Retention
* Oversee initiatives that attract and retain top talent.
* Support managers in creating a seamless onboarding experience.
Strategic HR Leadership
* Collaborate with the Director of People to align HR strategies with organisational goals.
* Champion leadership development and succession planning across the organisation.
* Drive initiatives to promote employee wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion.
What You Bring to the Role
We’re looking for someone with:
* Extensive HR expertise: A strong background in employee relations and HR generalist skills.
* Experience handling complex cases: Proven ability to manage sensitive cases with fair, consistent outcomes.
* Qualifications: CIPD Level 7 or equivalent and up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
* Leadership skills: Strong communication and the ability to inspire and influence others.
* Proactive approach: A problem-solving mindset with a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
* Sector experience: Experience in the health and social care sector is desirable but not essential.
