We are seeking a dynamic Standing Together Lead and Case Manager to drive the University’s efforts in promoting student wellbeing and addressing unacceptable behaviours. Acting as a subject matter expert in areas such as sexual violence, domestic violence, and hate crimes, you will lead the implementation of the Standing Together strategy, ensuring effective policies, training programmes, and case management services are in place. You will oversee a team of case workers and work closely with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality support and foster a culture of inclusion and respect. This role involves designing and delivering innovative training sessions, managing sensitive and complex student cases, and maintaining robust systems for recording and monitoring disclosures. As a key advocate for cultural change, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the University and external organisations to promote best practices, raise awareness, and align with national standards. Your work will significantly enhance the safety and wellbeing of the University community. About you You will hold a degree or equivalent experience, with a strong background in policy development, training delivery, and operational leadership. Your expertise in managing complex and sensitive cases, particularly related to sexual or domestic violence, will equip you to provide empathetic and professional support while ensuring organisational objectives are met. Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and navigate challenging situations with resilience and discretion. While experience in higher education or additional qualifications in careers guidance or social work would be advantageous, we are primarily looking for someone with a proven track record in fostering change and building partnerships.
