An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed RMN or RNLD Nurse to work in an exceptional hospital service based in the Edgbaston, Birmingham area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This hospital provides fast access to expert treatment for a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, and stress.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with a current active NMC Pin.
As a Nurse, your key duties include:
1. Undertaking and managing direct patient care.
2. Participating fully in the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care needs.
3. Delivering care, including individual and group sessions, to agreed quality standards as prescribed by internal procedures and health legislation.
4. Ensuring effective communication of any concerns relating to patient care.
5. Supporting and supervising new or junior staff.
6. Deputising in the absence of the Ward Manager and their Deputy to manage the staffing and clinical needs of the ward as required.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
1. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
2. Patient-centric approach and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
3. Fine-tuned decision-making skills.
4. Excellent organisational capability.
5. Effective communication skills.
6. Flexibility and a strong 'can do' attitude.
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent annual salary of £36,176 - £38,596 per annum. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
