Senior Electrical Engineer Job Description
Join a globally leading chemical manufacturing company located in Lincolnshire as a Senior Electrical Engineer. The role offers a salary of up to £56,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package including a double-figure pension, annual bonus, hybrid working options, private medical insurance, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the implementation of strategic asset programs for electrical, instrumentation, and control system assets.
2. Act as the custodian of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing professional engineering support for maintenance.
3. Identify and implement electrical enhancements to improve safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.
4. Hold the level of Senior Authorised Person to manage high and low voltage interconnection networks.
5. Develop and manage asset management plans to meet safety, cost-efficiency, sustainability, and production goals.
6. Conduct obsolescence reviews for I&E equipment, identify capital needs, and develop business cases.
7. Prepare and manage project budgets, seeking opportunities to reduce costs.
8. Support change management processes and assist the drawing office.
9. Support project execution, maintenance shutdowns, and operational readiness activities.
10. Produce and review I&E instructions and support capital project development.
Candidate Requirements
* Degree in electrical, control, or instrument engineering.
* Chartered status or working towards it, with membership in IET or InstMC preferred.
* Experience in process engineering within a continuous manufacturing environment.
* Proven ability to adhere to Process Safety systems and procedures.
