Position: SEN Nursery Teaching Assistant Qualifications Required: Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Safeguarding Certification Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a local authority-maintained Nursery School in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. This school has a strong focus on providing high-quality early education and has consistently received an 'Outstanding' rating from Ofsted. Key Responsibilities: Assist the teacher in planning and conducting engaging lessons Provide support for individual children and small groups in their learning activities Help create and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment Participate in observing and assessing children's progress Maintain effective communication with parents and carers regarding children’s development Required Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Up-to-date Safeguarding training Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills: Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting Strong understanding of child development and early education practises Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) Working Conditions: This full-time, contract role involves working with children aged 2 to 4 years in both indoor and outdoor settings.
