Ob Description: Reed is advertising this role on behalf of our client, who is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee their operations. This role is initially offered as a 6-week contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the community center, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors. Coordinate maintenance and repairs of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Supervise cleaning staff and ensure the center is kept clean and tidy at all times. Oversee security measures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage bookings and scheduling for events and activities within the center. Liaise with external contractors and service providers as needed. Monitor and manage the budget for facility-related expenses. Requirements: Proven experience in facilities management or a related field. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
