The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in curating and delivering training content in multi-cultural corporate environments and large audiences (400+), and if possible tailored for the financial sector. As a Senior Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs (both for employees and clients) while collaborating closely with senior management.
Responsibilities:
* Curate, develop, and deliver comprehensive/complex training content and projects applicable to all learner levels i.e. new joiners and existing members of staff, including senior employees and clients.
* Work with the training team, Senior Training Manager, and respective stakeholders to deliver further training on the firm’s services and tools to clients.
* Take the lead in responding to management requests and support the Senior Training Manager in managing complex tasks and lead projects to completion.
* Support the Senior Training Manager in handling responsibilities that require a high level of expertise and competence.
* Collaborate closely with the Senior Training Manager to support junior team members and ensure seamless training delivery.
* Proficient in creating and managing content on Learning Management Systems (LMS) and adapting to new technology trends with great ability to troubleshoot issues.
* Demonstrates exceptional collaboration with senior management and function heads to understand training needs and objectives of their teams, and design applicable learning experiences.
* Assist in the design and delivery of soft skill programs and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) training initiatives.
* Learn industry-specific notions and terminologies to be able to deliver effective and industry-relevant training content.
* Provide detailed evaluation metrics to measure training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
* Possess excellent digital skills, technical writing abilities, and strong experience with Microsoft 365 (M365) tools.
* Ability to work seamlessly in multicultural environments, fostering inclusivity and diversity.
* Support the Senior Training Manager in mentoring and nurturing junior trainers, ensuring their professional growth and development.
Accountabilities:
* Develop, curate, and update comprehensive training modules and content tailored for the financial industry. Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to senior management, staff, and clients ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
* Adapt training content and methodologies to align with evolving industry standards and organizational requirements.
* Manage and administer content on the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accessibility, accuracy, and user-friendliness.
* Utilize LMS analytics to assess user engagement, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate closely with senior management to identify training needs, objectives, and key performance indicators.
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate training initiatives into organizational processes and workflows.
* Foster a positive learning attitude within the team, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
* Design and deliver soft skill programs, enhancing interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills among employees.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) training initiatives, promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
* Take the lead in responding to management requests, handling complex tasks, and supporting the Senior Training Manager in managing responsibilities that require a high level of expertise and discretion.
* Foster strong communication and collaboration within the training team and across departments.
* Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and successes to the Senior Training Manager and other stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant feedback, and evaluation results.
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining training outcomes, participant performance, and recommendations for future initiatives.
Qualifications/Other Requirements:
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in curating and delivering training content, preferably in a senior role.
* Experience in the financial industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
* University degree in a related area (Communications, Education, Languages, Media, Technology).
* Excellent command of English Language.
* Excellent communications skills across all audiences.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with senior management.
* Willingness and ability to learn industry-specific notions and terminologies.
* Capacity to lead training initiatives and handle tasks that require a high level of expertise and competence.
* Proven track record in creating and managing training content on Learning Management Systems (LMS).
* High digital skills, technical writing abilities, and familiarity with Microsoft 365 (M365) tools.
* Strong background in providing detailed evaluation metrics for training effectiveness.
* Experience in designing soft skill programs and delivering DEIB training is a significant advantage.
