Making A Difference as A Senior Homelessness Early Intervention & Prevention Officer in Housing Services. This post is funded and co-ordinated by the Homelessness Strategy Team at the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as part of a city-region homelessness trailblazer programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably motivated and skilled individual to join St Helens Borough Council and work as part of a small team to deliver a preventative response to homelessness. Prevention and early intervention are at the heart of our approach, and we seek to recruit an individual with a track record to demonstrate delivery in this sector. The successful candidate will work proactively with people at risk of homelessness to holistically meets their housing needs by the provision of effective case support. The post holder will deliver outcomes that improve housing circumstances and provide access to the appropriate housing options to prevent homelessness. The successful applicant will demonstrate drive and commitment to preventing homelessness, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of partners. Adaptability and resourcefulness are two key skills required for this challenging but rewarding role. Applicants with a track record of leading and delivering service change are also invited to consider this opportunity. The successful candidate will also provide supervision to the two Prevention Officer Posts and have experience of reporting on service delivery outcomes and impact.
