We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council as a Technical Officer in the Strategic Waste and Contract Management Team. The role: This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Strategic Waste and Contract Management Team, to support improvement and development works for the Waste and Street Scene service with our key partners. You will work to support the Strategic Waste and Contract Management Team by providing sound data, trends and analysis relating to the review and improvement planning of key operations in order to deliver a consistently high standard of service which is compliant with the appropriate legislation. This is a fixed term position until 1 October 2025. What you will need: You will have proven experience of Waste/Street Scene/Grounds Maintenance services, or relevant background in operational data management, along with a good understanding of Health, Safety and Welfare policies and procedures. You will have experience of delivering services to the public, including investigating and resolving complaints. As well as knowledge of Microsoft packages plus an awareness of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
