Director - Project Management Salary: Competitive Location: Birmingham Contract Type: Permanent The Vacancy Want to join a leading international, independent real estate consultancy with an all together different approach? We are looking for an experienced, efficient, and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our expanding Project Management team. Due to exponential growth, we need a strong PM to facilitate the end-to-end project management on several current and potential large-scale commercial/industrial/retail projects. Project management is Hollis’ largest service in terms of billing, generating around a quarter of overall turnover. Last year the team completed a record 2,000 instructions, working on projects ranging in value from under £50,000 to over £500m across multiple sectors. You’ll have the opportunity to work with an expert team of PM professionals steered by a leadership team with more than 50 years’ combined experience. As a result of Hollis’ desire to expand our Project Management services, we have created this new role within our Birmingham office. We are keen to hear from anyone able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision. Job overview End-to-end project management of large-scale industrial/retail projects including reports, tenders/bids and liaising with internal and external contractors Effectively taking full client briefs and able to deliver results according to their needs Act as the face of Hollis and lead junior Project Managers to develop a new pure project management team across various sectors Grow a network of contacts and bring existing contacts to maximise opportunities for business development Integrate and work closely with existing Senior Associates and Director leads across various projects Win business and help to develop the Project Management services both professionally and socially Managing design and construction projects in the various stages Support growth of the Hollis team, on professional level as well as on social/teambuilding Qualifications/Experience MAPM, PRINCE2 or MRICS PM along with postgraduate study would be ideal Proven experience working on multiple projects over £10m Must possess both Cat A & Cat B project experience Ability to provide comprehensive project management from start to finish with little to no supervision Experienced with roles outside of RIBA 5 project delivery Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and permit/planning procedures Strong communicational skills and capable of maintaining strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders Efficient, process driven and eager to improve quality and processes teamhollis The Company Hollis is a leading international, independent real estate consultancy.
