LoveBristol is a Church and Charity, based mostly in Stokes Croft but with a passion for the whole city. We are a not-for-profit organisation supported by a combination of social enterprise, gifts and grant-aided support. We are looking for an experienced Bathroom and Kitchen Fitter with plumbing and general maintenance experience to join a dynamic team of people working to create and build community in Stokes Croft and across the city of Bristol. We are particularly looking for a candidate who also has experience in repairing and replacing sash windows.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated hands-on individual to come and join our maintenance team in central Bristol and help us look after our social enterprise buildings and residential homes.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Installation and Repair of Kitchens/Bathrooms: Fit and install kitchen units, worktops, sinks, bathroom suites, showers, toilets, and other associated fixtures and fittings.
* Plumbing Work: Carry out plumbing tasks such as installing water supply, drainage systems, pipework for kitchens and bathrooms, and leak repairs.
* Carpentry Work: Cut, assemble and install cabinets, cupboards, and other furniture to fit custom dimensions as required.
* Quality Control: Ensure that all installations meet the company's high standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
* General Maintenance: Upkeep of retail and residential properties.
Skills & Requirements:
* Sympathy with the Christian faith and an aligned vision with the Charity’s motivation to love and serve God and our community.
* A plumbing and/or electrical qualification would be beneficial.
* Experience working with sash windows, repair and replacing.
* Good communication skills, written and verbal.
* Good initiative and problem-solving abilities.
* Flexibility - working both under instruction and independently.
* Driving Licence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday.
* Weekend availability.
