This role sits within the Learning and Corporate Development (LCD) team within Talent, Learning and Development (L&D).
This team centralises the management of external training from the strategic assessment of learning needs to contract management as well as developing training content for non-technical topics, managing communications, engagement, budget and MI data for Talent and L&D.
As this role will cover a variety of work strands, as outlined above, it will be pivotal for the successful candidate to ensure that the needs of all our talent and learning customers are met, through exceptional customer interaction.
This will also be essential in helping the team to lead discussions around learning needs and with comms and engagement. Other areas of responsibility and focuses will include overseeing budgets, training evaluation, training application requests, creation and development of MI data dashboards, continuous improvement and process optimisation.
The role holder will also lead on specific projects as required and will oversee line management of a Learning and Corporate Development Lead.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Designing, shaping and creating a learning needs analysis model that is future proof, proactive and that fully incorporates business needs and L&D interests.
* Leading on monthly learning needs analysis review meetings with allocated business areas.
* Writing comms articles or pieces of content that are engaging, tailored and relevant for different audiences.
* Building a network of comms representatives and an inventory of channels.
* Leading on developing a training evaluation strategy by capturing all the different types of training delivered and proposing ways to evaluate impact at different levels.
* Leading on the diagnosis and analysis of data sources and their standarisation.
* Overseeing and managing the team inbox where all training requests and queries are received.
* Overseeing that the responses to queries, management of training requests (from learning needs to invoice payment) and timeframes are managed according to the set processes and in a professional and timely manner.
* Ensuring that deadlines are met or that mitigation actions are in place if otherwise. Make sure that all stakeholders are informed in advance about such circumstances.
* Leading on the development of plans and timelines to achieve projects – these can be on the pipeline or ad-hoc.
