Overview
NexGen is looking to add an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to their growing QSEM team in Lexington, KY.
Responsibilities
Process monthly customer and miscellaneous billings, primarily within a cloud-based integrated accounting system.
Prepare cost support back-up for monthly customer billings as required by customer contracts.
Research and provide documentation for billing inquiries from project teams and customers.
Continuously monitor billing status, and update and maintain all relevant project documentation.
Process bank deposits, record and post cash receipts timely in the accounting system.
Assist with reconciling Accounts Receivable general ledger accounts.
Update and communicate receivable activity to the Accounting Department.
Provide support for project cost, credit references, and yearly audits.
Support backup functions for the Accounts Receivable team as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate would have experience in customer billings in the construction industry.
Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, Excel, and e-mail applications. CMIC experience or other construction cloud-based software knowledge a plus. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to coordinate efforts with internal Gray personnel as well as external Gray customers.
