Make a Difference in Children's Lives: Family Time Worker (12 Months + Ongoing)

Staffordshire Council are seeking a dedicated Family Time Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring positive connections between looked-after children and their birth families.
Pay : £15.17 per hour
Location : Staffordshire County Council, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall, Staffordshire, WV8 1PX
Hours : Full-Time, Mon-Fri, 9-5
Contract : 12 month contract with a view to be extended along with the possibility to become permanent.
What you'll do:
1. Coordinate and supervise family time between children and their families at designated contact centers and community settings.
2. Create detailed observations and reports on your interactions with children and families.
3. Liaise with social workers and escalate any concerns you may have about a child's well-being.
4. Contribute to a positive and supportive environment for children and families during these visits.
What you'll bring:
5. A valid driver's license with access to your own vehicle
6. A relevant qualification, such as NVQ Level 2 in Working with Children and Young People (or equivalent experience).
7. Experience working with children, young people, or families in a social care, educational, or voluntary setting.
8. A strong understanding of child development and the needs of children in care.
9. Excellent written communication skills to document observations and reports.
10. A commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their well-being.
11. A team player with a caring and reliable personality.
