Excellent opportunity for anexperienced qualified candidate to join the team with a DualManagement opportunity overseeing two existing and establishedchildrens residential homes. The homes Combined can care andsupport up to 5 young people. They are a short distance apart socan be easily managed under Dual registration for an experiencedManager.
The role of the Children sHomeManager:
To manage tworesidential homes simultaneously whilst ensuring efficiency andeffectiveness ofoperations.
To supportadults working with young people to achieve the highest standardsof care.
To be involvedin recruitment for both teams; including vetting interviewing andinducting newemployees.
To contributeto a comprehensive team training and development programme toenable the services to have available all necessary skills andlevels of expertise to meet the needs of the young people for bothhomes.
Liaise with thevarious internal and external multidisciplinary teams andcommissioningauthorities.
Register withthe regulator and uphold requirements and conditions of thisregistration. To be part of an oncallsystem.
The requirements of theChildren s HomeManager:
A level 5diploma in leadership for health and social care and children andyoung people s services; or equivalent; or a preparedness to worktowards thesame.
Candidate wouldrequire experience in a Management capacity in a ResidentialChildrenshome
Full manualdriving licence
