The Wellbeing Centre welcomes people with long term conditions, dementia and elderly people who need support to better care for themselves.
A therapeutic programme of care and activities is provided, as well as social interaction and respite for carers and family members. Refreshments are provided throughout the day, including a hot lunch.
You will participate within the wellbeing centre in the provision of foodproduction and other patient support activities.
You work closely with all users of our services and their families, friends and carers, who all play an invaluable contribution in how our users experience our services.

• Keeping the people who use our services as safe as possible through the use of sound clinical skills and effective risk assessments escalating concerns to Registered Professional Staff
• Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to evidence based policies and procedures within scope of assessed core competence
• Ensuring the people using our services have a good experience by respecting, empowering and working in partnership with people throughout the care planning process.
Band 2 Well Being centre assistants / housekeeper who work in these services require a range of core skills as follows:
• To provide refreshments and undertake the provision of food production for the patients
• To actively work as a member of the multi-professional team to provide high quality care to patients
• To implement straightforward tasks and work guided by standard operating procedures and protocols and undertake roles/duties as delegated by the Assistant practitioner
• To undertake a variety of clinical intervention tasks after achieving appropriate core competencies delegated by the Assistant Practitioner
