We are looking for a 6 month FTC HRIS Analyst to support on all aspects of our Dayforce HR System, data and process in the delivery of HR systems services to the business; supporting the delivery of activities; providing the relevant technical expertise; ensuring that services are meeting the business needs and creating a culture of continuous improvement and process optimization.
The individual will support in elevating our colleague and candidate experience from recruitment management, onboarding, HRM, to payroll and escalation on mailbox query support.
Key responsibilities
* Support with business as usual and maintain our Dayforce HR System, which includes Recruitment, Onboarding, Core HR, Workforce management (including hardware time + attendance clock devices), Learning, Performance, Compensation, Workforce Management, and Payroll modules.
* Support the integrations between Dayforce and other business systems.
* Administration of new accounts and updating existing information and creating and assigning role-based permissions.
* Support with all Dayforce upgrades to ensure the wider team are prepared for system changes and all the necessary system configuration is updated accordingly.
* Complete the UAT on the releases/upgrades for all releases and service packs, including regression testing and new enhancement testing.
* Support with system configurations; following the change management process, to configure, develop and enhance the system to support the wider business to run more efficiently.
* Deliver solutions in line with business requirements, striving for operational excellence, through the use of SQL, XML + HTML.
* Collaborate with other departments (i.e. IT, Finance, Internal Audit) to assist in implementing or enhancing processes.
* Identify, track and report on potential system issues/bugs/problems and escalate as necessary.
* Be a subject matter expert in Dayforce, supporting with process enhancements and developments.
* Support projects, including requirements gathering, updating project plans, and tracking task statuses. Escalate as needed to keep projects on schedule.
* Identify and understand current business practices and make recommendations which improve efficiency, regulatory compliance and the collation of accurate employee information.
* Develop and provide training to a variety of user audiences that have a variety of technical skill levels.
* Review effectiveness and efficiency of existing business processes, capture functional requirements, identify enhancements, test and implement.
* Support system environment set up and maintenance, including backfills and environmental design.
* Support the effective implementation of change management initiatives, including medium to large acquisitions and business transformation projects.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
* Experience of working in a HR Operations / HR Systems department, preferably within a global role.
* Certifications in HRIS platforms, preferably Dayforce.
* Experience in ERP, preferably Dayforce.
* Ability to configure system integrations and system configuration.
* Good SQL, XML and HTML experience is required.
* Strong HR Systems aptitude with good knowledge of general HR related reporting, archiving, employee file management requirements. Ability to learn and become an expert in Dayforce, in addition to having the ability to train others in their use.
* Experience of configuring Dayforce including creating / enhancing workflows, system notifications and report building.
* Experience of Power BI and creating dashboards in Dayforce.
* Must have strong planning and organizational skills.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools in a 365 environment.
* Experience with helpdesk systems such as CRM is a plus.
* Possess initiative and drive; with strong desire to continuously improve processes as well as deliver against agreed objectives and service levels.
* Multi-tasking experience in a fast-paced environment, completing work tasks with speed and accuracy in a detailed work environment.
* Ability to make decisions that impact customer service levels with a sense of urgency.
* Excellent communication skills with an ability to listen and respond to queries.
