A leading Facilities Management service provider is seeking an experienced and skilled Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team at a commercial building in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished professional to work within a prestigious environment, delivering high-quality maintenance services and ensuring the smooth operation of critical HVAC and refrigeration systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a variety of air conditioning, refrigeration, and HVAC systems including split systems, VRV/VRF units, AHUs, chillers, and cold rooms.\nPerform fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on refrigeration and air conditioning plant, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to building operations.\nMonitor system performance, pressures, temperatures, and efficiency, making necessary adjustments to optimise performance.\nEnsure compliance with F-Gas regulations, environmental policies, and all relevant health & safety legislation.\nAssist with system upgrades, refurbishments, and installation projects where required.\nComplete accurate maintenance logs, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.\nLiaise with client representatives and other stakeholders, providing a high standard of customer service.\nSupport and collaborate with other on-site engineers to ensure seamless operations across the site.\n\nKey Requirements:\n\nLevel 2 or Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Air Conditioning, or Refrigeration (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) - Essential.\nValid and current F-Gas Certification (Category 1) - Essential.\nProven experience in the maintenance and servicing of air conditioning and refrigeration systems within a commercial environment.\nStrong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills.\nSound knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and safe working practices.\nExperience working in high-end commercial, critical, or corporate environments is highly desirable.\nExcellent communication and client-facing skills, with a professional and proactive approach.\nAbility to work independently or as part of a team.\n\nWhat's On Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary - £44,000 - £48,000\nMonday to Friday working pattern (08:00 - 17:00).\n25 days annual leave + bank holidays.\nComprehensive company pension scheme.\nOngoing professional development and training opportunities.\nAccess to an employee benefits platform including discounts, wellbeing support, and more.\nOpportunity to work at one of Central London's premier commercial buildings, supported by an experienced engineering team.Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
