We are on the lookout for a Site Support Manager to join our growing team based at our site in Newton Heath, Manchester. Supporting our Heineken contract, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all site compliance including QSHE regulations and UK Legislation and budgeted financial responsibility for site facilities and maintenance.
This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. Some flexibility maybe required; this is logistics after all!

What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Support in ensuring that all distribution activities across Newton Heath Depot are compliant with legislation & safe systems of work in conjunction with the BU or Central QHSE Teams
* Monitoring FASTWORKS to ensure all site KPIs and Risk Assessments are completed in full
* Responsibility for all site briefs to be communicated fully across site and to all shifts
* To play a vital role in shaping the culture and approach of the workforce and supporting and Use of “Engagement” tools to build positive working environment
* Manage and engage with site management with site projects and remedial works
* Promoting continuous improvements to ensure productivity targets to plan, lead and control the workload of the managers and fleet to achieve shift deadlines
What you need to succeed at GXO:

* Past operational distribution and warehouse experience
* Understanding of both business and regulatory authority requirements
* Knowledge of day to day site operations
