About the Job
As Content Manager you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality communications content output to support positioning
Unipart’s expertise and capabilities externally to stakeholder audiences.
Reporting into the Head of External Communications, you will lead on all strategic and corporate communications content that is
implemented across our channels – including insight reports, CEO and senior leader content, and digital channels (including
website and social media).
You will be responsible for bringing industry knowledge and market insight to Unipart in order to credibly oversee the creation of
content by our subject matter experts, and to be able to directly create content. As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
* Analyse available research via industry reports, customers, competitors, academia, government, non-profits, and media
stakeholders aligned to our established Unipart narrative and positioning and build up a profile of the issues and trends
* Produce content using this insight and through interviewing Unipart experts and senior executives on the issues affecting their
area of the industry
* Report on policy and regulatory issues emerging from government and keep messages up to date – including identifying relevant
‘calls to action’ for stakeholder groups
* Establish monitoring, reporting, and KPIs for role
* Identify any budgetary requirements for third-party reports that will support credibility and scale with target audiences
* Establish objectives and metrics to track the effectiveness of content
* Monitor trends and opportunities in the market to adjust messaging proactively
About You
We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this
role!
* Experience in an industrial or B2B environment, either in-house, agency, or with a media title
* Strong knowledge of the industries in which Unipart operates – key understanding of the issues and themes relevant in our
markets
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – especially interviewing, writing, editing, and analytical skills
* Experience researching and writing corporate reports, white papers, and feature articles
* Demonstrate knowledge of government policy and public affairs
* Self-starter able to plan and implement effectively
* Strong operator, able to influence and engage well internally and externally to deliver results
* Excellent writing ability and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams
* Strong planning, organising, and time-management skills
* Positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure using own initiative
