The Process & Automation Analyst will play a pivotal role in identifying, documenting, and optimising key business processes and data flows. This role focuses on process mapping, understanding the underlying data architecture, and creating detailed process documentation (e.g., SOPs) to support operational excellence and drive efficiency. In addition, this position involves designing and implementing automated workflows using tools like Power Automate, CoPilot, or equivalent technologies to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and ensure alignment with organisational goals. The role will also contribute to data governance initiatives by mapping processes to data architecture, ensuring data reliability, and supporting informed decision-making across the organisation. So, what’s the job? You’ll collaborate with business teams to analyse and map end-to-end processes, identifying key inputs, outputs, stakeholders, and pain points. You’ll develop high-quality process documentation, including workflow diagrams, SOPs, and process models, which serve as a blueprint for operational execution and improvements. You’ll collaborate closely with technical stakeholders to understand the organisation’s data architecture, including key systems, integrations, and dependencies. You’ll design and implement automated workflows using tools like Power Automate, CoPilot, or other automation platforms to streamline processes and improve efficiency. You’ll support the development and enforcement of process and data governance standards to improve consistency and compliance across business units. You’ll train and support stakeholders on process workflows, SOP adherence, and the use of automated tools. You’ll lead efforts to continuously improve process documentation and automation by gathering feedback from stakeholders and analysing process performance. And what are we looking for? You’ll have proven experience in process mapping, workflow design, and process documentation. You’ll have a strong understanding of data architecture and its interaction with business processes. You’ll be proficient with process automation tools such as Power Automate, CoPilot, or similar platforms. You’ll have the ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders to align process designs with data flows and operational objectives. You’ll have a strong working knowledge of data management principles and best practices as well as a strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, and metadata management.
