Our dedicated team of skilled technicians and friendly staff work together to ensure every vehicle receives the best care possible. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist / Assistant Manager to join our team and help us uphold our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Warmly welcome customers and assist with their inquiries.
2. Handle incoming calls and emails, booking appointments for vehicle services.
3. Prepare accurate service and repair estimates, communicating them clearly to customers.
4. Keep the reception area organised and create a positive customer experience.
5. Process payments and manage invoicing with accuracy.
6. Support administrative tasks, including filing and data entry.
7. Maintain effective communication with technicians and customers regarding service updates and recommendations.
8. Work efficiently under pressure, prioritising customer needs promptly.
9. Hours of work: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with some Saturday morning cover occasionally.
Qualifications:
1. 5 years experience in a reception / assistant manager role, ideally in the automotive sector.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with scheduling software.
4. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
6. GCSEs in English and Maths preferred but not essential.
7. A genuine interest in cars and eagerness to learn more about the automotive field is a bonus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00 - £32,000.00 per year
