Our company is Tirwedd Sustainable Garden and Tree Services. We provide a range of practical land management services including forestry and habitat management. We are an ecologically conscious company.
We’re recruiting two employed positions for forest/woodland management tasks including:
1. Tree planting
2. Tree maintenance
3. Mechanical weeding around trees
4. Cleaning and re-spacing
We’re ideally looking for one person with relevant experience and certificates of competency and one person who may have less relevant experience but a keen interest.
Both positions require a driving license and/or own transport. You will usually be required to start your workday at the actual work site location. You may be required to drive work vehicles.
Work will be within mid, south, and west Wales. Positions are full time.
Position 1, for the candidate with most relevant experience, salary will start at £27,040.
Position 2, for the candidate with less relevant experience, salary will likely start at the new minimum wage for 2025, from £15,704 to £25,397.80, depending on age. Performance and rate of pay will be subject to review, and we hope we will be able to increase salary based on performance.
Performance related bonuses are often available. You must be able to deliver consistent outputs and standards.
EFAW+F, brushcutter, forestry clearing saw, chainsaw, ATV / quad, and PA6 certificates are all an advantage.
Candidates need the ability to work outdoors in all weathers, physical fitness, determination, commitment, and reliability. An ecological outlook is an advantage.
