Currently we work with the Local Authorities within the Teesside area and require experienced 1:1 tutors in Stockton and the surrounding areas to work up to GCSE level. This role can start immediately or work around your start date availability. The range of pupils we work with can differ in their tuition needs (challenging behaviour, Autism, ADHD, SEMH) and how many hours they require per week. Tuition sessions can vary between 10-15 hours per week which is around 2-3 hours per day per student. Pupils we work with can range from primary age all the way up to secondary (5-16yrs) so we are actively looking for tutors who are experienced in any year group. The role of a 1:1 Tutor: Providing 1:1 support in core subjects (Maths, English or Primary). Planning individualised programmes of learning. Tutoring within the home environment or community libraries. Full time & part time hours available. What you will need to be a 1:1 Tutor: Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent or a minimum of 2 years previous teaching experience. Experience with primary or secondary aged children. Enthusiastic, engaging & friendly. Passionate about children’s education.
