We are currently working with a fantastic local authority who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join their Family Safeguarding Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and delivering services to children and families in need of support. You will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children and families that they support.
Your new role
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families.
Develop and implement effective safeguarding plans.
Provide direct support and intervention to families.
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
Participate in regular supervision and training.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
Social Work England Registration.
Must have completed your ASYE.
Must have 1 year of UK based experience.
Proven experience in child protection and family safeguarding.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage complex cases.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
Must be able to drive and have access to vehicle due to rural locations.
