Role : SEN Teaching Assistant Location : Bournemouth Area Contract Type : Flexible – Full-time or Part-time Position Type : 1-1 and Small Group Support About the Role : We are seeking a confident, reliable, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be supporting children with SEN across a variety of schools in the Bournemouth area. Whether you're working 1-1 with a child or supporting small groups, you will play a crucial role in helping children achieve their full potential. Responsibilities : Provide 1-1 and small group support to children with SEN Work alongside class teachers to tailor lessons to the individual needs of students Support the social, emotional, and academic development of children Encourage and motivate students to engage with their learning Help implement and monitor individual learning plans Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment Requirements : Previous experience working within education, ideally supporting children with SEN Strong understanding of SEN needs and strategies for supporting learning Confident and able to work independently or as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and passionate about supporting children’s development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) Why Join Us?
