WHS Manager > Warrington > DAYS 9am-5pm> £30k-£32k > No Weekends > ONSITE PARKING > PERMANENT PLACEMENT Taskmaster Resources Ltd are recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of a well established Logistics client in Warrington. Ideally candidates will have at least 3 years warehousing experience as well as supervisory experience and be hands on to help develop staff working for them. Initially responsible for team of 3 staff, ensuring each person has clear information when issuing their daily tasks. Candidates also must have a current FLT Counterbalance licence. Shift times are 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday & 9am-4pm Fridays Responsibilities: Organising the safe and efficient receipt, Storage and dispatch of products to customers to satisfy and meet customer demand. Responsible for all goods In and out ensuring things are recorded correctly and traceable. Leading a team of 3 staff including holding 1-1s and coaching & Development. Ensuring every person in the team has clear information about their daily tasks. Accountable for import and export procedures ensuring completion of required documents. Verify documents received for import customs purpose are compliant and correct. This should experience, and a clear understanding of the requirements and implications of importing and exporting goods to and from the UK post Brexit. Monitor and approve duty invoices, custom entries filed by brokerage firm to ensure accurate entry and duty payments. Manager European freight and commercial invoices, ensure all documentation is correct. Monitor and review for accuracy all transport invoices, ensuring all documentation required is attached. Interact with Customs authorities to address any issues/questions arising during the clearing. Stock control and conducting regular audits, keeping systems up to date. Responsible to control stock of pallets, frames, edges, and other warehouse parts and equipment required for the day-to-day activities. Communicate with Transport partners, distributers, suppliers and colleagues to resolve quality and delivery issues and drive continual improvement. Look for opportunities for process improvements, implementing these where necessary. Coordinating with the sales and production departments as well as freight companies to ensure goods are DIFOT (dispatch in full on time) Essential experience, qualifications & skills: Minimum of 3 years warehousing experience. Supervisory experience in a warehouse. Working Knowledge and understanding of ERP applications such as Oracle. FLT Licence and experience Flexible and adaptable Good time management and prioritisation skills. Leadership Skills. Dynamic and self-motivated with strong communication, interpersonal and relationship skills. A team player with enthusiasm for your work and dedicated to high standards of quality. Proficient in use of Microsoft office packages in particular excel.
