The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Export Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the seamless journey of cargo from collection to delivery, coordinating with shippers and carriers to make it all happen. You’ll take charge of managing export logistics, ensuring everything runs smoothly while keeping costs on track and ensuring goods are efficiently cleared for export. At Vuba you will:
* Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
* Coordinate and monitor shipments, including tracking and updating delivery status.
* Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
* Establish and maintain an expansive network of international operators.
* Evaluate and select appropriate transportation methods based on cost, urgency, and customer requirements.
* Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, including delays, damages, or shortages.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities.
* Manage 3rd party logistics claims, ensuring optimal outcomes for Vuba and our customers.
* Interact with freight companies and overcome customs challenges.
* Foster good working relationships with Operations and Sales departments.
* Source new suppliers globally ensuring routes and schedules used are efficient and cost-effective.
* Complete projects for business improvement.
* Any other ad hoc duties.
Skills & Attributes:
* Good time management skills, as you may have multiple tasks and issues happening concurrently.
* Previous experience working with international freight, dealing with customs is essential.
* Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with managers and colleagues.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify issues and effectively deal with them.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
* Experience with transportation management systems (TMS).
* Familiarity with third-party logistics providers (3PL).
* Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently.

Working hours:
· Monday to Thursday – 8am to 5:30pm
· Friday – 7am to 3pm
