Team Leader Role
As a Team Leader, you will lead a small supported living service for adults with learning disabilities.
1. Provide management support to the Service Manager and conduct direct staff supervisions with the Senior Support Workers.
2. Ensure staff schedules are flexible to meet the needs of the residents.
3. Form professional, positive relationships with residents and support them to continue to live full and rewarding lives.
4. Support the Service Manager towards exceeding CQC standards and ensure team quality standards are maintained.
5. Promote appropriate activities and approach local community providers.
6. Promote inclusivity and a positive focus and approach to the service users.
7. Encourage staff, residents, and their families in enabling residents to achieve independence.
Team Leader Qualifications
Ideally have NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
