As the Director of Pharmacy Education, you will join a strong school leadership team and collaborate with colleagues from across the health and social care professions as well as external stakeholders. We have completed our Part 2 GPhC accreditation visit against the new standards and your role will be to ensure that we continue to successfully shape and further develop our MPharm programme and the wider the pharmacy portfolio. It is important to us that our pharmacy programmes deliver an exceptional student experience and develop research-curious, and work-ready graduates. Establishing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with practice partners in the regional healthcare sector is paramount. You should be an experienced pharmacy educator with demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and motivational skills. You should possess the ability to implement new ideas and excellent communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders. Your collaborative efforts will shape our pharmacy programs and placement provisions to ensure ongoing alignment with the new standards for the initial education and training of pharmacists. We seek a strong educationalist who is a creative thinker, collaborator, and strong line manager. You will facilitate and support our staff in challenging their thinking and fostering innovation. Adaptability, excellent organizational skills, and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities are essential.
