Job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dietitian to join the team in Bristol. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various settings, providing expert advice and support to help them achieve their health and nutritional goals. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality care and has a passion for promoting health through nutrition.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Conducting thorough assessments of clients' dietary habits, medical history, and nutritional needs to create individualised nutrition plans.
* Developing personalised meal plans and nutritional strategies tailored to the specific health requirements and goals of each client.
* Providing education and counselling to clients and their families on healthy eating habits, food preparation, and managing specific dietary conditions.
* Working with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and a holistic approach to patient health.
* Regularly reviewing and adjusting nutrition plans based on client progress and changing needs, ensuring optimal outcomes.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed client records in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards.
* Participating in community outreach and health promotion activities to encourage healthy lifestyles and raise awareness about nutrition-related issues.
Requirements:
* Degree in Dietetics or related field.
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent.
* Experience in clinical dietetics or a related area.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to client-centered care and promoting healthy eating habits.
* Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
