About the Role: Under the supervision of the members of the Marketing Operations sub team, assist the team with tasks to deliver efficient organisation and smooth functioning of the Marketing Operations Team. The Marketing Operations sub team supports the effective running of the wider Marketing team and enables cross functional working to ensure we have the right resources working together to deliver to our high standards. This role touches on all areas of delivery in our Marketing Department and provides support and operational management to many of our Marketing sub teams. In particular: Support Marketing Operations functions across Formula One with the development of marketing material including brochures, toolkits and key documents for internal and external use, ensuring they are complete and kept up to date. Support the Operations Team to plan and coordinate the travel arrangements of the team at races. Support the Hospitality & Event teams with the planning, organisation and implementation of events and guest programmes as and when needed. Support with the tracking and organisation of our Value in Kind product allocations and roll out to staff keeping logs and compliance paperwork up to date. Support our Asset management by providing administrational support, coordinating asset movements, and booking in key logistics. Support the Operations Team with planning and administration of Driving Experiences and Operations led projects. Exposure to our collateral days, launches and brand shoots to support the wider marketing department requirements. Work with senior members of the Marketing Operations team to implement and manage processes that contribute to the efficient working practices of the team. Successful candidates will have: Essential: Experience working in an office environment Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Interest in sports marketing with a history that shows an education or extracurricular activities that align with the experience required Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Business, Marketing and/or Events experience. Able to work an organised way being able to multi-task and prioritise work in a fast-paced, busy office environment Ability to work at all levels within an organisation and balance strategic administrative roles with a practical hands-on work. Ability to build good internal and external relationships and to be a team player A proven ability to work effectively as part of a team who enjoys working in a high achieving and yet demanding environment. As a minimum, the successful candidate must have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies, and must have at least one year of academic studies left (undergraduate or postgraduate) at the time of taking up your placement with us in July 2025. Desirable: Whilst an interest in motorsport is advantageous, an interest in sport marketing and operations is important along with a passion for learning and being part of a team. Given the nature of the companys business a flexibility in hours and approach is required along with the ability to work under minimum supervision with a can-do attitude. How to support in the planning and delivery of a range of marketing activations. Exposure to how we manage complex cross-functional projects such as live demonstration events, driving experiences and content management. The importance of both internal and external relationship management when it comes to developing positive working relationships. Organisational skills and planning around marketing operations projects, such as replica car and other asset programmes. Logistical skills coordinating assets and complex travel plans. Relationship management skills liaising and working with various functions and stakeholders across marketing.
