Governance and Scrutiny Officer - Permanent – 36.25 Hours
RBH currently have an opportunity for a Governance and Scrutiny Officer to join our Governance Team to provide an efficient and effective business administrative and governance support service to the Group. In addition to coordinating and facilitating good governance across RBH, you will also be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the Representative Body. You will also be responsible for other Governing Body meetings (including Board and Committees), the production of meeting packs, coordination and submission of reports, production of clear and concise minutes, and maintaining action plans to ensure clear governance is maintained. You will also provide a key role in supporting the Representative Body in undertaking their Scrutiny function and their wider role including supporting the development and implementation of the Membership Strategy.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who:
1. Is GCSE educated A – C, or equivalent to include Maths and English
2. Holds a business administration qualification or demonstrable experience at a similar level (Desirable)
3. Has previous experience of working in Governance
4. Is a computer user of IT including working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and Office 365.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal with customers, including external stakeholders to arrange and meet challenging time-bound objectives.
6. Has the ability to communicate, handle and store information with care so that confidentiality is maintained.
7. Works to develop a one-team culture, improving collaboration across the business to achieve excellent results.
