The Assistant Director for the Site Base Day Habilitation is responsible for the overall coordination of Habilitation Services for the Site Base Day Program. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to the supervision of all Day Habilitation Program Managers, QIDP’s and direction for Day Habilitation Staff. Responsibilities also include the development of specific systems and appropriate forms for recording and reporting the individuals’ information and the communication of appropriate individuals’ information to direct care staff, oversight agencies and billing services.
* The supervision and support of Day Habilitation Managers, QIDP’s and Day Habilitation Staff.
* Ensure required paperwork is submitted to the appropriate places in a timely manner.
* Assist Program Managers in maintaining relationships with family members, guardians, and other residential care providers.
* Attend all meetings as assigned by the Director of Day Services.
* Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Minimum requirements include Bachelor’s degree in human services discipline or Bachelor’s degree with training or course work in human services + at least 1 year of experience supervising or coordinating services for the developmentally disabled population.
* Experience managing a residential or day program is preferred.
* Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation.
