Job Description
As a Project Facilitator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering impactful interventions for children and young people, supporting their rehabilitation and personal growth.
You will be responsible for delivering the Boys2men and SPROUT Project programmes with excellence, helping children and young people build self-awareness, confidence, and values. Collaborating with young people and families, you will identify goals and create personalised support plans, inspiring and motivating progress while working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure a seamless approach to support.
Maintaining safeguarding and health and safety standards across all activities is a key element of the role, alongside designing and delivering presentations in community settings to promote engagement and awareness. Additionally, you will support effective data recording and monitoring to evaluate programme impact and outcomes.
About Us
Through innovative projects, we empower children, young people, and communities to overcome challenges and achieve lasting change. Our dynamic team leads cutting-edge interventions within prisons and communities, focusing on rehabilitation, support, and empowerment. From the Boys2men programme to new girls’ intervention initiatives like the SPROUT project, we aim to transform lives by fostering self-awareness, healthy relationships, and personal development, helping break the cycle of reoffending and fostering successful reintegration into society.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and committed individual who brings experience in delivering 1-2-1 and group sessions to children and young people, particularly those at risk. You will have a strong understanding of safeguarding, child development, and the impact of challenges such as domestic violence and parental mental health. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate across teams and with partner organisations. You will also be proficient in IT systems and confident in recording casework and data. While not essential, an NVQ Level 3 in Youth Work, Youth Justice, or a related field would be desirable. You will be adaptable, empathetic, and driven to make a lasting difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families.
