Purpose of the role This position will provide electrician support to all production activities on shift to ensure site objectives are achieved. Key accountabilities Carryout out preventive and corrective maintenance of plant and equipment on site on shift basis. Perform electrical maintenance on the plant as directed by line manager Perform routine maintenance during shutdown or as required as directed by electrical engineer and planning department. Highlight to your line manager any plant fault that can potentially affect safety, environment, quality and production so that effective action can be taken to improve performance. Assist the general operation of the plant, in task such as inspections and housekeeping and the operation of equipment. Liaise with Maintenance and Production Supervisor to resolve any issues relating to plant or equipment fault on site Provide technical assistance as required by line manager Ensure all activities are carried out within the company requirements of safety, environment and quality.
