Job Description:
Talent Acquisition, Strategic Sourcer creates and implements strategic and proactive talent acquisition strategies with full stakeholder buy-in and engagement to ensure that AbbVie attracts, sources, and recruits the strongest talent. In this role, you will work with various recruitment and social media systems and platforms, leveraging social channels and technology to create efficient and best-in-class stakeholder experiences. You will act as an advisor, using market analysis and industry research to inform sourcing strategies that enable future capability building and influence stakeholders to act proactively regarding their current/future talent mix and talent market availability. You will offer differentiated recruiting experience for hiring leaders and candidates across all AbbVie Operations functions, partnering closely with senior leadership and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Lead effective sourcing strategies, practices and standards that provide high quality experiences for talent that interacts with AbbVie through proactive outreach and exploratory discussions. Set the vision, strategy, and goals for all aspects of recruiting talent for SLT level positions, for Operations Sites outside of USA.
* Serve as a Sourcing expert, including leveraging talent market intelligence (LinkedIn Insights and Talent Neuron), historical data (ATS candidate fill data), provide and recommendations directly with business leaders, Recruiters, and Business HR. Stay informed of talent movement within the industry, trends within specific functions in Operations, and have awareness of when talent may be ready to consider new career opportunities.
* Understand the business and how to clearly articulate business strategies and key initiatives, and ensure external talent has the experience and passion to positively impact AbbVie business strategies.
* Partner in the identification and prioritization of current and future talent needs, and the deployment of sourcing strategies to meet business needs.
* Proactively source passive candidates through advanced search techniques including Boolean search on resume databases, social media, LinkedIn, and industry directories to uncover high quality talent pools.
* Interview candidates to assess their skills, understand motivation for considering a career move, and ensure culture fit.
* Nurture Professional pipelines by keeping talent engaged as roles are posted and provide information regarding available opportunities.
* Provide updates and reporting on critical roles and sourcing activities to stakeholders and reporting.
* Develop and implement best practices to ensure compliance with local regulations and sourcing practices.
* Conduct assessments on best-in-class sourcing and metrics for benchmarking against other top talent acquisition functions across multiple industries.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree required, with a preferred focus in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar career. Master’s Degree preferred.
* Eight (8) or more years of progressive HR experience in large, global environments.
* Five (5) or more years in multi-country talent acquisition, sourcing or executive recruitment role, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within pharmaceutical industry, supporting Operations functions – manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, procurement etc.
* Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience with the ability to build and sustain long-term relationships.
* Strong communication skills, verbal and written English, additional European languages will be an advantage.
* Raise the bar mentality and anticipation in solving potential issues before they become problems.
* Ability to assess leadership capabilities and influence stakeholders.
