As a Pharmacy Technician in the Medicines Management team, you will assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service, taking into consideration, at all times, the need to maintain a high level of security.
You will be required to work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, which will be part of a comprehensive healthcare package, based on the prison services needs.
Main duties of the job
You will hold NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and have current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) to be considered for this role. You will also have relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and multi-disciplinary team.

HMP Wayland is a category C training prison holding adult males, and has a capacity of 1,017. The prison originally opened in 1985, and since then, has been added to significantly, increasing its capacity by some margin.
