We are seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their teams and provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs in April 2025.
Duties as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Support students with special educational needs in the classroom and during one-to-one or small group sessions.
* Assist in implementing personalised learning plans under the guidance of the SENCO and class teacher.
* Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Provide emotional and behavioural support to students when needed.
* Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure each child’s needs are met.
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
* A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
* A willingness to undertake relevant training.
* A passion for making a positive impact on children’s education and well-being.
